About Us

We are not a PTA, do not have dues, and are not managed by any overseeing group. We are currently a group of 6-7 parents that are working to help bridge the gap between JMMS Admin/Staff/Teachers & Student Parents/Guardians. The goal of the JMMS is to support, enrich, and advocate for the critical role of adult involvement in our school by bridging the gap between the JMMS Admin/Staff/Teachers and Student Parents/Guardians. We will be collaborating with our school to work to support the school and its teachers needs and will volunteer to help with the school, school activities, and school events.

Meetings

We hold monthly Google Meet meetings, every last Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.

Volunteer

Parent involvement proves to be one of the greatest indicators of student success!

In order to provide the support needed to JMMS, we are in the process of building our group and are looking for volunteers! You don’t have to attend every meeting, commitments are flexible, and volunteering is very rewarding!

Our volunteering needs are: help in the classroom, office, or workroom; chaperones for events; assisting fundraising events to alleviate financial responsibility teachers personally fund; and lots more! We would love for you to work with us!
